Ryoyu Kobayashi wins start of the 70th Four Hills Tournament

What a start for Ryoyu Kobayashi! The Japanese secured the qualification victory in Oberstdorf and the triumph in the competition with the longest jump on 141 meters.

Ryoyu Kobayashi has every reason to be happy after the opening of the 70th Four-Hills-Tournament in Oberstdorf!!! With a sensational jump to 141 meters the Japanese takes the victory! With 2.8 points ahead he leaves the Norwegian duo of Halvor Egner Granerud (2nd) and Robert Johansson (3rd) behind. Directly behind the podium ranks another Norwegian, Marius Lindvik, followed by Karl Geiger from Oberstdorf.

Conclusion of the opener: Neither wind nor heavy rain could prevent the best of the best from great jumps. Now it's off to the next stop for everyone -> Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We are excited.
